"I wish Bob Ewell wouldn't chew tobacco," was all Atticus said about it. -Atticus Pg. 291

I agree. Atticus did the right thing by not judging Mr. Ewell and not holding it against him like other other people would have done.

Yes, I agree. Atticus is not one to be rude to another person. He is polite in how he says things.

"so many things had happened to us, boo radley was the least of our fears. atticus said he didn't see how anything else could happen, that things had a way of settling down, and after enough time had passed people would forget that tom robinson's existence was ever brought to their attention." chapter 26, page 243

From the way this quote is stated I believe it is because this type of stuff doesn't happene around Maycomb it's also kind of sad to see that a person died and was forgot so often due to his skin color.

I agree with you. The children have more to worry about than Boo Radley considering what they have been through with case and etc.

"In our courts, when it's a white man's word against a black man's, the white man always wins. They're ugly, but those are the facts of life." -Atticus, page 295

This is a great analyst and I totally agree with it, this quote completely describes how the trial turned out. Almost saying that because iphe was black whether he did it or did not, if the white men said he did it that's what it was.

This really caught my eye. It shows what really went down with the trial.

"An expression of timid curiosity was on his face, as if he had never seen a boy before. His mouth was slightly open, and he looked at Jem from head to foot. Boo's hand came up but he let it drop to his side." -Scout page 372

"The adults In Maycomb never discussed the case with Jem and me, it seemed that they discussed it with their children and their attitude must have been that neither of us could help having Atticus as a father." (Scout, chapter 26)

I feel that even Atticus doesn't mind that Bob Ewell died. After all, he was the one who beat Mayella because of her relationship with Tom and got him killed (indirectly).

I'm not a very good man sir, but I am sheriff of Maycomb County. Lived in this town for all of my life and goin on 43 years old. Know everything that's been goin on here since before I was born. There's a black boy dead for no reason and the man responsible for its dead. Let the dead bury the dead this time, Mr. Finch. Let the dead bury the dead." Heck Tate

At first I thought Mr. Heck Tate was against Tom Robinson, but this passage possibly suggests otherwise. He says that Tom died "for no reason" suggesting that Mr. Tate believed he was innocent.
